grief of my heart
“In Chechnya, I never held a weapon in hand. All carried guns with them, but not me. My weapon is a scalpel. Whoever wants to kill me, he will kill me either way. I only wish good for people. I never belittled or disrespected anyone. No matter if it’s day or night, I never refused to help. Why should I be afraid of or hide from someone? Doctors have always been outside of politics.” — Dr. Khassan Baiev
